Shower head broke off my shower hose in my apartment. Is it my responsibility to replace it or the landlords?

I also need to know if I will be blamed for this. all I did was after a shower through my towel up on the curtain pole and that towel knocked down my shower head and broke a piece off of the hose. I should also state I never use the hose or detach it from the holder.
