Guys this guy is ignoring me repeatedly?

I know its something in my mind.. I detach when I start conversations so I don't get emotionally involved. I can feel it in my body. Well I have pushed this guy away, now I want him back but hes been behind it. It feels like he is lying and he likes me but is shy to say so. Its like the relationship went from cluttere to being organized, its just not materialized. Guys does this make sense to you?
