How can I get my husband to help get baby to sleep?

Ok it is not the usual problem. My husband would love to take over and give me a break some nights but my 6mo won't let him! She thinks of daddy as a playmate. He works and when he gets home she gets super excited to see him and we all spend the afternoon playing together. But I am the only one that can get her ready for bed. I give her a bath, story bottle then rock her to sleep. If my husband tries she just gets hyper and wide awake and will even throw a fit when he tries to get her calm and ready for bed. How can I get her to let him put her to bed? To let her know just because daddy is around doesn't mean its always time to play?
