Why did this guy make plans and then detach?

He detached like he expects me to be there, or he doesn't think I am serious, or hes not interested, or hes sick, or his phone is messed up or hes scheming something.. I really don't know, but since he said he likes and wants to see me very bad, I believe him and I made plans to come get him.. Only way for me to communicate with him is by phone and I don't have his address... Do you think he is trying to get me TO come to his area and then call when I get there?
