You opinions on a guy matter?

i went out with this guy for 3 weeks to all kinds of places, everything seemed to be going well. one night he comes over to my place just to hang out. while at my place hes pretty quiet the whole time, i ask him if something is wrong he insists that nothings wrong. evening gos on we get into "it". the whole time though he seemed distracted or detached. eventualy he gos home. he continued to keep in touch for a few days then just stoped texting eventualy after about a week. its been i about 2 weeks i didnt hear anything from him. i just thought okay maybe hes just a jerk or hes just not that into me. then he came and saw me at work and promised he would come see me more or "text me later" but this never really happened. every time we see eachother at work hes very friendly and conversative so im confused as to what he wants, but now it seems like hes almost trying to avoid me. hes somewhat of a shy guy so i kinda find it hard to think he just wanted to get laid but i could be wrong. i did like him and enjoyed being around him, and thought he did to. i dont know should i try to keep in touch with him or just let it be? cause i would like to continue to see him but not to sure what he is wanting
